The Virtual Learning Environment is called 'its learning', and is a site which can be accessed from school or home by students and staff alike.
The site is designed to create a relevant and progressive space for students to experience a rich and interactive learning experience, and for staff to broaden the learning opportunities for our students and provide more personalised and e-learning activities. Staff will also find a 'staff room' with resources, support services and important information about upcoming and whole school issues.
On the VLE, you will find a personalised calendar with events targetted to your needs, and reminders of upcoming activities and deadlines. There is a main page which details school events and the latest information in areas such as Chapliancy, Performing Arts, Sport, Behaviour and Rewards, and the School Radio. You will also find personalised 'course' pages created by subject areas, where there will be resources such as useful website links, revision and classwork documents, home learning and student voice polls. There is also the chance for teachers and students to communicate via email and for students to submit work electronically.
