Our Church, Our Local Community
CH- -CH What’s Missing?
Our theme for the school’s forty-fourth year stems from the Diocesan
5 year process of renewal. It follows the aims of year 3 of the programme
‘Being the Local Church’ and the scriptural passage:
‘I am the Vine, you are the branches.’ (Jn 15:5)
We are called to encourage the members of our local church communities
to reflect on who they are and what they are about; since it is these
communities that are fundamental in the witness to the faith. We reaffirm,
restore and replenish that which is most important; our practice and understanding
of Christian life and spirituality.
As individuals and as a Church we can reaffirm our witness to
the Lord’s presence in the world and work together to build God’s Kingdom.
So when asked the question: What is missing? CH_ _CH. The answer is U
R!
